The John Brooks House is an historic house at 12 Nelson Place in Worcester, Massachusetts. The 1.5 story wood frame house was built in the late 1840s by John Brooks, a Princeton native and farmer. The south facade distinctively has three large gables which rise to nearly meet the main ridge line. On the west side is a rectangular ell set at right angles to the main block.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NRHP nomination for John Brooks House )〕 The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980,〔 at which time it was still the hands of Brooks' descendants, and was one of the only farms still operating in the city.〔 ==See also==
